Knoxville, Tenn., July 5 - This evening at 8:30 o'clock in St. Johns Episcopal Church occurred a brilliant wedding. Miss Frances Brownlow Aiken, daughter of Capt. H. M. Aiken, of Knoxville, was married to Frank Wood Carnahan, of Leadville, Col. Rev. Dr. Thomas W. Humes officiated. The bride is a leader in Knoxville society and grand-daughter of the late Senator Brownlow. Mr. Carnahan and bride leave tomorrow for Leadville. Katie I. Conner
Mr. Will C. Rogan, a well known young gentleman of this city, son of Mr. O. P. H. Rogan, and Miss Katie I. Conner, a popular belle, of North Knoxville, were married yesterday morning, at the residence of the bride's mother, Rev. J. P. Briscoe officiating. The newly wedded couple took the west-bound train, for a trip to Western cities, and were attended to the train by a large circle of friends, who showered congratulations and well wishes upon the happy couple.
